RibbonWeld was founded by Terry Peterson to meet the rail welding needs of BNSF Railway in Springfield, MO. Our new Flash-Butt Fixed Welding Plant began operation in 2002.

Gary Bevills joined Terry in 2003 to oversee the operation of RibbonWeld, LLC and together they started providing mobile welding service with the development and addition of mobile welding units for mobile in-track welding to Class 1 Railroads, Regional & Short Line Railroads, Railroad Contractors, Light Rail Transit Systems and Other Industries all across the USA.
